Surprised no one has posted this yet (At least I haven't noticed it anywhere in this section) where they have taken a stab at which club or player will take out certain awards, Premiership winner, Most losses, Halfway leader, Top try scorer, Top point scorer, and Dally M medalist, with their pick for Dally M medalist being the one that stuck out for me.

When considering an early pick for the Dally M medal, it's important to note that of the last 13 winners, seven have been halfbacks, two five-eighths, two hookers and two fullbacks. The successful candidate usually plays in a side who wins enough games for them to earn plenty of three-vote returns, with an element of 'one-man show' about them. It's hardly surprising then to find Johnathan Thurston ($8) and Benji Marshall ($9) at the head of the market, but it may surprise many to find Cronulla duo Todd Carney and Paul Gallen the next best at $13. The reigning Dally M medallist Billy Slater looks some value at $15. But in continuing the hunt for the bigger dividends, Parramatta Eels recruit Chris Sandow sits at a juicy $31. If the Eels can string together some wins, you'd imagine it'd be on the back of big seasons from Sandow and Jarryd Hayne. At $41, Kiwi and Manly five-eighth Kieran Foran is another at attractive odds, although the abundance of stars in the Sea Eagles outfit could cost him votes.
The Pick: Chris Sandow ($31)
