Surprised no one has posted this yet (At least I haven't noticed it anywhere in this section) where they have taken a stab at which club or player will take out certain awards, Premiership winner, Most losses, Halfway leader, Top try scorer, Top point scorer, and Dally M medalist, with their pick for Dally M medalist being the one that stuck out for me.

DALLY M MEDAL WINNER

When considering an early pick for the Dally M medal, it's important to note that of the last 13 winners, seven have been halfbacks, two five-eighths, two hookers and two fullbacks. The successful candidate usually plays in a side who wins enough games for them to earn plenty of three-vote returns, with an element of 'one-man show' about them. It's hardly surprising then to find Johnathan Thurston ($8) and Benji Marshall ($9) at the head of the market, but it may surprise many to find Cronulla duo Todd Carney and Paul Gallen the next best at $13. The reigning Dally M medallist Billy Slater looks some value at $15. But in continuing the hunt for the bigger dividends, Parramatta Eels recruit Chris Sandow sits at a juicy $31. If the Eels can string together some wins, you'd imagine it'd be on the back of big seasons from Sandow and Jarryd Hayne. At $41, Kiwi and Manly five-eighth Kieran Foran is another at attractive odds, although the abundance of stars in the Sea Eagles outfit could cost him votes.

The Pick: Chris Sandow ($31)

Nah Sandow's shit.

He can't, ah, steer a side around. Or something.

He won't fit in with Kearney's structured style.

He'll crack under the pressure of being the next Sterlo.

He'll fight with Hayne because they both want to be the star.

He's slow and he's got a shit kicking game.

He's really a white guy.

Did I mention I hate Parra and I want them to fail?

Your last line is incorrect. It was a solid effort at a negative Parra bashing I'm a jerkoff posting, but it should end with "I hope he proves me wrong" in a pathetic effort to deflect from any chance of looking like a deathrider.

Sandow seems like not bad value at $31.

If the Eels fire this year I would imagine he will play a starring role.

I might have a little speculator. Please don't any of you bastards back him before I get a chance to. Thanks.

TPB just put thousands on him, good luck with your bet.

I think Sandow has too much Merkin in him (which is a Good thing) to win the dally m. Likely to earn a couple weeks at some time during the season and I doubt he will poll enough to over come that. Besides he doesn't have the media man-love of a JT or Benji.
