had a look at the manly daily this morning and its saying that our number 1 transfer target after deadline day is going to be frank pritchard.

i think this is good news, especially considering the fact that we will have a huge gap in our back row, with bk leaving, frank would be a good fit.

does anybody know where a list of players coming off contract would be? it would make for interesting reading. i heard ben creagh might be coming off contract soon too. he'd be another good signing i reckon.

Think about it, guys like Steve Simpson are on 250k.
This guy wants in excess of 300k! Very over rated and has an ego issue.
He only plays like 40-50 mins a game.

Give me Dallas Johnson any day.

he's not another BK, but i dont think he'll be another kite though. i think he is good enough to fill the gap well though. he has been pretty solid this season. my only gripe that he sometimes can be inconsistent and drop the ball occaisionally.

sam thiaday would be a quality buy, is he coming off contract too?

More like 30, and about 15 of those he's standing around not doing anything much. For 275k+, you guys can have him. He has a world of potential, he always has, but he's lazy. Maybe a move to new club will let him move closer towards his potential but at the moment I'd say spending that kind of cash on him would be a waste.

Minichiello re-signed for 3 years today, plus we dont need any more fullbacks, a Prop/2nd Rower would do fine.

I stand corrected about Pritchard. There was some very influential issues to arose in the last three days that cannot be discussed for privacy reasons. But rest assured, had these issues not arissen Pritchard would be at Manly next year for sure!
