Bloody hell that was far too close for comfort.

Hauritz looked good. Wouldn't be suprised to see him get another shot at test cricket before long.

Neither is Casson, White, Doran, Heal, Doherty, Cullen, Bailey....

I don't think talent is going to be a pre-requisite for Australian test selection as a spinner this season.

Hauritz should be in India now.

At least he can keep it tight unlike WHITE or Krejza.

and if the wickets turning like most of them will then he will be able to do a very good job.

I don't think talent is going to be a pre-requisite for Australian test selection as a spinner this season.

I'd still like to see a bit more of Casson as I am undecided. I think he's a better option than the two we have in India atm.

According to the selectors they see him as a long term prospect but prefer to keep him in cotton wool and not play him in India just yet, which I think is silly because it wold be a great learning curve for him.

Heal did alright today. Doran, Cullen and Bailey have the potential to get somewhere. Still Hauritz needs to play in the 4 day game before getting a look, and I hope he does.
