Who would have thought the Vics could chase down 300 with out significant contributions from Hodge, Hussey, Rogers or Quiney.

Great finishing from Finch and Hastings, with some help from Wade who kept the strike turning over with Finch.

I think for the next game they should see if Hodge or Rogers can take the gloves, because White and McDonald will be back from India and they cant drop Finch now, although they might rest the skipper and keep him fit for the Shield game

I honestly gave the Victorians no chance in that game once Wade got out. Full credit to them great batting at the end by Finch and Hastings.. Wade is a top notch young keeper batsman you are kidding if you want to drop him...

Useless in the shorter forms, only had one shot today and that is useless against anything full and on the stumps
