France A will tour SA using players from the elite comp while the National team will tour NZ and maybe the pac islands with Australia. Last I read they were still talking with the Australians (as usual) because they want a break in 2015.

The reluctance of Australian players to play post-season Tests next year could leave poor France stranded at the altar.
Well-placed sources have told Discord the Rugby Football League, having been spurned by Australia for a Great Britain tour next spring, have instead induced New Zealand to head to the northern hemisphere.
That leaves the French – who were to tour New Zealand – without a dance partner. They will have to make do with hosting the Kiwis for a Test or two instead on the way to England.

The RFL have confirmed that New Zealand will visit England for a three-match test series in autumn 2015.
This would bring down the curtain on plans for the Great Britain Lions to tour next year, a move which seems to have been vetoed by parties in Australia.
The two sides met in a classic World Cup semi-final in 2013, with the Kiwis emerging victorious with the last play of the game.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the Kiwis in 2015 and building on the rich tradition of international Rugby League between the two nations," said England coach Steve McNamara.
"A three-match series against a team like New Zealand will provide an intensive test for us and, as history has shown, is guaranteed to bring out the best in the England players.
"After the massive crowds we had behind us in the World Cup, it’s going to be great to play on home soil again and I’m sure the Kiwi tour will provide a memorable end to what is going to be a momentous year for the sport in this country."

Maybe France can tour the pacific. Play in Samoa, tonga, Fiji and png. That would be an experience!

I wonder how much it would cost to tour North America. Bring a side over, play 4 games, one in Toronto, one in Philly, one in Jacksonville and one in Kingston. 4 games, 3 North American teams, one great tour.

why cant this tour go ahead? They can play NZ before they head over (1 test) and other tests and matches can follow. Maybe even a pacific island test.

Hopefully every single rugby league playing nation play test matches next year with full strength test teams. That would be 80-100 nrl players anyway! Australia would look stupid in that case. I know for a fact that some players are spewing that they won't be playing a test series v gb next year, it would have been their first and last chance to do it.

They will definitely play a match in France and I'm sure they'll even sneak one in against the Welsh or Irish while they're there too....
