PARRAMATTA
English halfback Chris Thorman will return home at the end of the season to join Canberra hooker Brad Drew and Brisbane centre Michael De Vere at Huddersfield. Thorman, who will make his seventh NRL appearance since joining the Eels against Wests Tigers on Saturday night, is the third player released to Super League in as many days following Wise Kativerata (Widnes) and David Vaealeki (Wigan). Kativerata, however, has been refused a visa to join the Vikings immediately and will remain with Parramatta for the remainder of the season and is now looking for a new NRL contract.
Kativerata wasn't named in any grade so I wonder if he'll come into reggies with Ben Smith getting promoted again.
Manly getting Katieverta is looking more likley
Manly have said they'll be signing an international centre currently playing with Parramatta who is seeking a release
- Kativerata is a centre
- Kativerata plays for Parra
- Kativerata has played tests for Fiji
- Kativerta seeked a release
