with hoffman out for the year, who will be fullback? I like beale at fullback but I'm not sure if I wanna bring copley or gagai in.

I'd love hodges at fullback. He's done it before in 06, and I think he can do it again!

option 1:
hodges
yow yeh
teo
reed
beale

option 2:
beale
yow yeh
hodges
reed
copley

I like option 1 more. Much more dangerous

There's no way Hodges will get through a game at fullback without doing his hammy.

If you don't want Copley back in then could put Reed on the wing with Teo to remain in centres. Teo had a bit of a shocker today tho at centre.

Positioning defensively and under the high ball..... Beale worries me.

With the ball in his hands, he went alright today.

Keep in mind we might have to cover another 2nd row spot in Thaiday cops anything for the tackle...

You wouldn't take him off the wing. He is probably the best winger in the NRL at the moment, would be silly to change that. Beale is a far better fullback than he is a winger and Copley is on par with Beale on the wing. That is really the only option in my opinion.

Yeah I feel pretty awful about this game. I was always worried this would happen in the back of my mind for a pointless final game. It was nice to honour locky of course -but serrrrriously we have cost ourselves golden chance at the finals.

However this could have happened next week or the week after. So I trust our depth and we have won games with beale at FB so he needs to take the confidence out of his pretty decent performance today and really come out firing next week. I like his speed and his agility. But am soo scared of his defense and confidence under the high ball. Teams can win with solid ruck defense and not ask for much from their full back so I gotta hope we stand up for that.

If your listening Griff. Please PLEASE but Gaigai in over Copely!!>!> Much more xfactor and ability.... But I think we will just see costly come into wing, beale at FB and Teo in 2d row. Thaiday will get a week or two from that tackle. FFS ;/

I recall Hodges was a fantastic fullback when he played there, but the running and fitness required would be too great considering his stop start season. I hope he is back for you guys at right centre, Brisbane is a great club and Locky deserves a full tilt at the title. I recall Beale going real good in the one earlier in the season, I think you're well served there. Manly v Broncos on the first weekend in October, wouldn't that upset a heap of neutral fans.

Dont quote me on it, but im pretty sure of we meet again it will be in the prelim.

As for fullback, has to be beale. Hodges back in right centre.

If Thaiday is out then Gillett to start at number 12, Teo on the bench. Copley to wing.

If Thaiday plays, then Gillett plays left centre and Reed on wing, Teo to bench.

I really feel for Hoffman. he's a very important cog in the team and the player i rated as our x factor the finals. not only that i think he would have been the kiwi f**kllback

Beale played very well earlier this year at fullback filling in and i think beale's a better fullback then he is a winger. If thaiday is out then we have a few options - gillett, te'o

I think reed needs to stay at centre, he can handle the highball well on the wing but we lose his ability to draw players and set up tries if he's on the wing. This would mean Copley would come onto the wing which worries me, he's had potential for years but never really showed anything at first grade

Are you in the right thread fart-knocker? This is for the victorious Brisbane Broncos (Brisbane 18 d Manly 10) fans to discuss who they think should be the fullback for our finals campaign. I'm sure there's a similar discussion going on in your team's forum following the suspension of the grubby little cheap shot merchant who plays fullback for your criminally-inclined rabble.

Beale deserves first crack, and he is a better FB than Wing. I am worried about the other Wing/Centre spot. Reed just wasn't as dangerous out on the wing yesterday, and Te'o didn't have the best game. Gillett did an OK job, but the only spectacular thing I remember him doing was catching that bomb for the try...

If Copley plays out on Reed's side of the field, I think he will be OK.

Worst part about losing Hoffman is losing the ability to get a try out of nothing. Beale can't do that.

Gillet also walked over the top of a few defenders and made some great meters -such a great bench player it's criminal to not see him out there for the 80!@

Beale got a try out of nothing yesterday -Was a bad read from Lyon tho. Im more concerned about Beale's infomous shirt grabbing. He is gonna have to put his body on the line a fair bit if he wants to be anywhere near hoffy's standards
