Gareth Widdop, Jake Webster, Peter Mata'utia and the Tigers fullback look the goods.

You mean Malcolm Webster...

Yes, Jake Mullaney (Tigers), Gareth Widdop (Storm) and Malcolm Webster (Souths) have easily been the best of the lot. Mullaney is a speedy support player type fullback, Widdop is skillful and has playmaking abilities, and Webster is very reminiscent of Preston Campbell in size and playing style.

William Hopoate (Manly) can't be too far behind, he gets through a huge amount of metres, and Nathan Gardner (Eels) is also a top talent, packs some serious pace.

Luke Towers (Roosters), Peter Mata'utia (Knights) and Ben Orcher (Sharks) have looked very talented at fullback, but have been required in other positions more often than not.

Josh Dugan (Raiders), Kevin Locke (Warriors) and Luke Capewell (Souths) have played first grade mostly this season, and in their limited appearances in the U20's, they have simply been a class above.

I think Widdop just re-signed.

Strange decision imo, he's almost good enough now to be a solid fg #1, and Billy wont be going anywhere for a few years yet.

Jake Mullaney (tigers) and Gareth Widdop (storm) definitly the two best fullback in the Toyota Cup.

William Hopoate (manly) close behind and is still 17 years of age. Along with Nathan Massey (bulldogs) who is 18 and I think will take over Luke Pattens number one jersey once he retires.

Peter Matautai (Knights) has played wing centre and fullback a number of times.

Malcolm Webster (souths) is very lethal, but I do not rate him as much as others do. Don't see him playing to much first grade.

I don't think Webster will play much first grade at all because unfortunately he is too small. I know Campbell has been able to do it but he is pretty much the exception although Webster is one of the most skillful and classiest players in the NYC and rarely makes mistakes and seems to break alot of tackles. He is out for the rest of the year though unfortunately.
