Just finished watching Lakers vs Nets and the ending was just comedy gold.
Lakers up 96-94. Meeks was at the foul line and had just made one free throw with another to come. Nets are out of timeouts to set up a final play. Not a problem. Jason Kidd to the rescue.
You can't see it in the gif above but in the link you can actually see him say the words "hit me" to the Nets player just before he bumps into him.
Play is stopped as the Nets bench players wipe down the floor, where the drink was spilled, and in the meantime the Nets coaches call the players over to show them the designed play for the final possession. Of course it wasn't a sanctioned time out, which leads to this;
Steve Blake just standing in the Nets huddle and watching the designed play like a boss :lol:
Whole thing was just glorious.
