Quick human interest story ......(maybe !)...


This time last week I was holidaying in Adelaide and did a day trip to the nearby Hills. Sat in a bar enjoying an ale and started chatting with a bloke and the conversation lead to sport....then Rugby League ...then International Rugby League.

Worked out we were both members of this forum ! (Albeit my surprise colleague is no longer a regular !)

Just seemed a bit funny to be in a pub in the Adelaide Hills talking to a complete stranger about the global gain the game is making .....( and its many faux pas ) !!!

I met The Partisan at the Student World Cup a decade ago. At Griffith Uni in Brisbane.

As for his absence ...sounds like a mix of a busier life encroaching and communicating more with the individual countries rather than discussion through the forums.
