The Pistons escape with 92 88 victory over the Heat at Detroit.Prince had 24pts 11reb for the Pistons while Wade had 32pts 7 rebs 5 asts. The Heat hold home court advantage 1-1 and the next 2 games are at Miami.

The game had everything big lead, comeback, controversie and a tight finish. The only thing it didn't have is a triple overtime.

Pistons didnt escape. They maintained control throughout the game. It was only in the final 6 minutes where they became lax.
Heat came back and good on them, but this is the NBA, where everyone makes a run. In game one the Pistons shot around 37% and still managed to only lose by 5. Pistons are looking good for a 6-7 game series win.

If the Referee made the right descission with the Prince timeout then it would not have been as close. Still you have gotta give the Heat credit for making it a tight finish. The Pistons cannot afford another near slip up like that in this series.
