I went to the movies the other night with the bride (to be). She wanted to get there early as it might be sold out (ended up being 5% full).
I said what's the rush, it'll start well after the nominated time of 6 anyway - we ended up having a sexual favours bet & it started over 20 minutes late....the bet was only for 10.

Moral of the story, you are gunna miss some of of the footy no matter what - get something out of it, possibly another Thursday tonight!
