Another loss against a team who last week conceeded 10 line breaks, we should have been attacking there right side all night that's the weakness.
If course Green gets a 40/20 not Chad.
This team is ordinary.

We won't win 2 of the next 4.
Looking at bottom 4, not top 8

That is now three games this season that should have been won but thrown away. The lack of killer instinct is obvious. They play well enough to get in position but don't finish the job.

Second half had 59% possession, 72% territory, 5 line breaks to 2, tackled in the 20 - 22 to 3 and only win by 4 points.

They have 3 tackles inside our 20 and score 2 tries.

Once again, the Sharks get a lead and try to defend it instead of going on with. The attack inside their 20 was too pedestrian when the game there to be won.

The Williams penalty on the 4th was killer. Newcastle were gone then bang right back in it. The Ramien penalty was amateurish. Looking straight across the line, its not to see if you are onside. The kick was fine, chase poor. The scramble defence for their last try lscked urgency. That play should have dealt with. Newcastle were incredibly lucky but luck isn't a factor if the bodies are there to make the tackle.

There are mitigating factors but after a while the pattern is clear. This team does not get it done when it matters. This Mr Fitzgibbon is your mission now that you have accepted it.

Jack Williams could be in a bit of trouble for his lifting tackle. I didn't think there was a whole lot in it but he'll get a week. There was someone else put on report wasn't there? Nikora maybe?

the tackle on nikora deserved a penalty. The problem was that it probably didn’t warrant going on report so as soon as the ref missed it/didn’t give one to begin with there was no point laying down.

Nikora forms late shots and Tolman for a crusher.
Both should be fine but who knows with the match review peanuts

I missed Tolman's but I didn't think there was anything in Nikora's at all. I wasn't sure if it was late or for a shoulder charge.

Didnt actually win them the game, again. He would have got 3 Daly Ms no doubt.
Did anyone see the attempt at tackle from Chad on Ponga try, lol, fkn soft
lol chaddys fault.
what side of the field did that try get scored on?
what side of the field does chad defend on?
he legged it to provide cover.
he was a yard short to have a good attempt.
how about you blame the left edge defence for not shutting down the play?
give it up honestly it's embarrassing.

I like IC Hannay. No bullshit press conference. Called out Jack Willy for his lifting tackle & Jesse for not making the effort to get onside.
lol chaddys fault.

Rewatching the last Knights try. Jesus Christ watch Woods strolling along in backplay as the ball moves to our left. Making no effort to get into some sort of defensive position. Infuriating

This is what Cronulla do for teams. Play them back into form & make all of the shit teams feel like they’re marching on the GF glory.

They gift rookies with tries & break out performances. They bring players who are shit, back into form. We are right now, just another West’s Tigers or Cowboys. Won one & then turn to mud.

Dunno about that. I thought there was a little too much urgency, which lead to Toby over-chasing.
He and, I think, Wilton were side by side trying to cover. If Tobes spaced himself better the gap closes and we're half a shot at defending it.

Toby over chased on that. He was right beside Tolman, which is why there was such a yawning gap. Chad being slow to cover on the inside didn't help matters, but he wasn't solely to blame.
