Gamesmen Pre-Order

I just pre-ordered the game from Gamesmen on the phone. I ordered it delivered by cash on delivery. I was just wondering when the game should realistically be delivered because the employee said it should be Thursday or Friday but I thought it would come a few days after the initial release date. Do you think I should expect it as early as Thursday or Friday?

Firstly you must be very lucky to still be able to preorder the game.. some shops stopped preorders a few weeks ago. However, if you do manage to get one of the first batch, you should expect it on the release date, thursday if you are in NZ, friday if you are in aussie. They usually get it the day before and ship it out to you so you get it that morning.

Thanks! Well the employee didnt say anything about pre-orders selling quickly or not having enough so I hope he didnt just take the order without realising they dont have enough. I live in Aus so hopefully it will come on Friday.

I know speaking to my Gamesmen (Penrith) that they have more copies coming than needed, so they'll still take preorders and will most likely have stock on shelf. The owner of Gamesmen is linked somehow to HES, which can't be a bad thing

Personally, I'll be calling Thursday night with fingers crossed.

I was just in the Gamesmen Penshurst store and they are still taking preorders. As for delivery times, from their website:

Express Metro ($11) - same day within Sydney metro if ordered before 10am
Express non metro ($16.50) - up to 2 days
Standard Post ($10) - 5-7 days
COD ($12) - 5-7 days

Thanks for the assistance guys! As long as I dont have to wait for the second shipment I will be happy, however, the sooner the better 8)
