Just bought a Turtle Beach X12 headset and mic for the 360 and PC. Anyone else have one or anything similar? I won't have a chance to give it a crack until tomorrow, late tonight at the earliest.

Heard/read nothing but good things, what are you guys using?

I have a turtle beach set for ps3 and will be getting one for ps4 soon. Really like their range. I've got a wired pair but next will be wireless

Well f**k me swinging

Had a quick go last night with GTA V, pulled out the heavy sniper rifle and fired off a shot - I think my ears are still ringing.

f**king awesome, will never ever game without them again. You literally feel every explosion, extremely cool.

Next test is flying online with FSX, looks like it will more than handle it.

Yea the difference is amazing playing battlefield on PS4 with a pair of turtle beach Px4s, such a different experience. For PS4 owners rumour is the headset patch will be out possibly February 22nd.

Had turtle beach head sets sound is great, Only complaint is that the broke twice just above the ear muff part as it was made from plastic ( maybe because my giant head),

I now have Sound blaster Omega headsets sound is good and they are made of a metal..

Funny thing was when I went to buy the Omegas the guy at EB games said his Turtle beach headsets broke at the same place as mine and his head was tiny...

I got a pair of X12's yesterday and love them already. Only tried them in the PC so far though.

Anyone use the A50 headsets? Need some feedback on the A50? I have seen one for sale for $260, which is below the $360 regular price.

I got a set of Turtle Beach XP Seven's a couple of days ago - before these current ones i've really only had cheap headsets (round the $100 - $120 mark), granted I found these ones for about $170 reduced from $399, and I really like them - the sound is crystal clear and from what i've been told the mic is clear also. I won't be going back to any other brand.

Replying to HowHigh from the closed thread.

If music is a priority I can highly recommend the NAD Viso HP50 headphones. Their RRP is $350 , so you may be able to do a little better. But they are the best headphones I've tried that are below $400.

HH...

For music only, you'll have to go a tad above your price range: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/headphone...ible-npulse-over-ear-headphones-white/436520/

If you want headphones for gaming (using an independent mic): https://www.jbhifi.com.au/headphone...true-headphones-around-ear-black-mint/546184/

In all honesty if you want good headphones go nowhere near JBhifi

All these guys are experts in audio. You'll get much better advice & they generally stock much better audio brands that aren't geared towards people who want to look cool ( beats , monster etc)

Fair call. But after using both (going for audio not style), I must say that Bose and Monster have some of the best I've ever listened to. Beats is purely style... you can get the same audio output from a $50 set. The only reason they're so expensive is because Dr. Dre has endorsed them.

I've had a PX51 for a while now and have no idea how to use the mic with it on my PS4.

Sound comes through fine but when I look at the settings it doesn't seem to find the mic.

Help please.

*Edit.
Man I'm stupid when it comes to techy stuff. I googled it and eventually found I needed to plug a cord in...that's it...cough.
I thought it was wireless with the microphone too, I guess not, just the sound.
