Kris Radlinski (Wigan Warriors)
Paul Sculthorpe (St Helens)

Doesn't inspire much confidence. The lack of a pacey 3/4 line is worrying.

Are you kidding? Senior, Carney, Ellis and Hodgson? They are quick. Then chuck in Radlinski and it's a quick team. Would like to ahve seen some of the younger backs in there, like McGuire and Burrow, Robinson and Aspinwall.

I'll grant you Carney is quick; but I suspect Connolly will start in the centre along with Senior who is only quick when compared to Connolly. Neither Ellis nor Hodgson seem to me to be anything special.

Where is Calderwood? Admittedly, at times he's a defensive liability but he's the one player with sufficient speed to terrify the Kangaroo's defence.

So would a lot of people. They would have given the Aussies something to worry about.

Personally, I think they've blown it, Forshaw, Connolly and Barrie McDermott should be nowhere near the squad which is very short up front, Fozzard should've been chosen for his go-forward play and his aggressive style which would've upset the K'Roos.

Gary Connolly was a great player - but he, along with Barrie McDermott are surely past their best?

Those players have had their chance,
a 3 test series will be too draining on their ageing bodies.

If GB lose the first test i think we will see the likes of Bailey and a few other youngsters for the second match.

Also on Ellis one has to remeber that he is a standout in a very, very average team.

First time Ive seen Morley line up against the Aussies.

He's gonna be hard to stop, I reckon he'll do well if GB go for the quick play-the-ball.
