I think tonights game is a bit of a farce to be honest. We are going into the Ashes with only ONE game under our belts, yet we choose to play an amateur side and field only about 4 or so who will start against Aus.

Why the heck have we not put as close as we could to the full test side out to give them some preparation?

If David Waite's word about the England A game being used for players to show their worth to the Test side is true, then the Test side will feature the entire A team. No-one has impressed so far tonight against the Kiwis-Lites.
