so whos getting it? and who's up for some Multiplayer when you do get it?

I hope the multiplayer is better than Gears 2, whenever me and my friends would try and get games there we would always end up as against players from some asian country and it would lag like crazy. They should use the Gears 1 multiplayer.

One of my most anticipated games of the year. And parra pride, they did fix the multiplayer. Its just too bad most people quit playing the game before they fixed it

have it preordered from o/s, hope it doesnt take too long to arrive afetr release. loved the first 2, played coop with my brother for both - have also finished both in single player as well but it's more fun yelling at locusts and each other when someone goes down afetr trying to do somehting stupid

Gears multiplayer has always been pretty ordinary, for mine. Co-op and Horde is where its at.

I hope so, apart from the achievements for beating the game on various difficulties I got every other achievement I had because Japanese people were lagging out of games were I was host but the game would start with only me, a few minutes later it would pop up as a win...

Not the greatest player in the world but I got Vet Gear not very ling after social/player matches were introduced - ie: I stupidly did most of my ranking up on laggy Asian or American hosted games

I use same GT as here

Heading in to pick up console + epic edition then all nighter with a mate on the campaign. From tomorrow night on, it's MP

Gotta say, heard there was a medal for doing beast mode on insane without dying .... f**k lol

Gears of War has always had amazing trailers, the trailer for Gears 1 is what actually made me decide to get an Xbox instead of PS3, i remember seeing the trailer and when it popped up "Only On Xbox 360" at the end I thought to myself, "screw waiting for a PS3 I need that game, bring on the Xbox."

They are teasing Carmine's death hardcore, first he nearly got squashed by a car, and then some stranded guy shot him with a sniper but the bullet just bounced off his helmet.

Ok, if you would have asked to to rank the various COGs in Gears 3 in order of who is most likely to die, I would have had Dom right down as one of the least likely behind only Marcus, so needless to say, when Dom died I was caught completely off guard.

Just finished it then. Good game, left a few too many loose ends for my liking. Plus the story doesn't feel as epic as the 2nd one.

Would not be at all auprised in 2/3 years if we see a Reach style prequel based around E-Day

but what answer are you after? from what i gathered it seems adam has been working on a "cure" for 20 years. Myrnahhsahsghag or whatever her name is for some reason got in contact with him and thats what he was doing to prevent e day.
