I`m also not a huge fan of Patterson,but he`s not as bad as a lot of people on here make out!Besides,a lot of you seem to like good defensive players.Check the stats.You will find that Pattersons defensive work rate is as good if not better than anyone else in the team!

Plus he had a blinder against them last year. His type of unspectacular effectiveness in defence is what's called for against the Kiwi meathead engine room.
