Very interesting article. It concerns the NRL official involved in the Nines game at the start of 2020, specifically our game against the Dragons where Cody Ramsay’s “try” after the siren was awarded despite the ball clearly being planted over the in-goal touchline.

That call in the Dragons game was extremely poor, but it was a low-stakes, pre-season, pass and giggle competition.
Probably also the result of years of relying on the video referee to make decisions, blunting their skills.

Also worthwhile considering some of epic blunders that some of the 'top' referees continue to make, in the biggest games, in the critical moments, while escaping any kind of demotion or criticism from within. It's obvious that the ranks of the NRL referees is extremely toxic, and the Sutton boys are up to their ears in it.

Dude needs to get himself decent legal representation though. Something like this should be pretty open and shut - especially since the Fair Work Commission has already found his evidence more credible than the evidence submitted by Bernard Sutton. He could be in for a decent payday on appeal.

Following excerpt is from an article by The Mole (source: https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/the-mo...hind-exiled-nrl-star-s-anti-vax-stance_131221) but considering what it is about, it is a nice story that deserves praise in my opinion (and I'm sure Panthers fans will appreciate it) -

Big win for Penrith juniors

Former Penrith Panther Lou Zivanovic was born in a refugee camp in Italy and came to Australia as a toddler, growing up in an orphanage in Sydney's west.

Zivanovic was a member of the Panthers' first team to make the finals under Tim Sheens in 1985 but then retired early to concentrate on his scaffolding business.

The decision proved a wise one - Zivanovic is now a multi-millionaire - but he has never forgotten where he came from.

Zivanovic's company CABE, now the Panthers' major sponsor, this week also did a deal with the Panthers juniors.

As a result, every family who has a kid playing in the massive Panthers juniors will now have to pay far less money for registration and insurance.

Well done, Lou!

F**k Rothfield is an idiot!

Craig has been working in the the NRL with different teams for well over 20 years and this is the first time that he has won a premiership with a club that he has worked for.

He is entitled to celebrate in any way he wants.

Yet another way to try and smear Penrith……
Yet ppl clikky on his links. The whole of the DT is one entire shithole of a click bait tabloid.
