For now. As more innocent guys lose their careers eventually the RLPA will push back.

The rule is all over the place as it is anyway

There's a reason it's called the "no fault stand down" technically they're stood down while going through the legal process to protect the nrl brand. It's not a judgement on innocence or guilt. It won't ever be overturned.

For me If an offence is bad enough for the player to be stood down, Then if found guilty they shouldn't return.

It is purely for show. guys like Tristan Sailor lost a career from it.

Other sex pests can't play UNTIL they are convicted... really makes no sense

Of course it's for show. Entirely a PR exercise from the nrl.

May has shown enough to recover from this if found not guilty. The bad situation will be when some 18 year kid misses his shot at a career because someone lies.
