It's been coming. No Walsh either which may have helped. Too many chefs in the kitchen?

They are absolutely a contender. Dogs are too if they keep staying in games. Tonight is an exception.

He's got the most errors in the league. Can be great when he's on but is a total momentum killer.

Can somebody PLEASE explain to me what the line drop-out rule is now. Surely a kick that doesn't go 10m or goes out on the full is incontestable and should be a penalty. Some games out on the full is a penalty, sometimes not!
It is a rule change that should be thrown out and go back to what it was originally.

Totally agree.

It is a remarkably stupid rule. Brings us closer to RU and not in a good way either. Terrible rule change.

They don't care. They're building ammunition for a court case that may or may not eventuate this century.

Warriors equal first with 6 wins and 2 losses. Its great to see them bounce back. 2024 was a surprise to me after their 2023 season.

Dragons and Dolphins to come. Both away games which isn't their strength. Will be watching them with intent.

Since its a bye week what do people think Penrith can get out of Origin? The one I'd love to see is NSW's very average coach being dumb enough to pick Young and force Martin to the bench. I'd then LOVE to see Liam forced into coming on in the middle.

Confidence.

Nathan Cleary has had his moments but overall his 2025 hasn't been all that good. Shaking off shoulder surgery and just the sync of the team totally out. Maybe playing with the NSW squad will help with that.

In Yeo's case I think the guy just needs a rest (When we can afford to do that...NZ away game).

Otherwise I hope Laurie Daley does pick on form and drop every Panther from the NSW team. I'll take anything right now. Edwards is probably the one most at risk from the 2024 NSW team. We could certainly use him against Newy in Bathurst.

Warriors beat the Dragons away. That makes 4 wins a row for a 7 and 2 record.

2nd on the ladder, undefeated at home. Barnett in Origin, maybe Capewell? They won't be hurt by it much. Their chances of a top 4 finish quite high you'd think.

Pick fewest Panthers as possible.

Some will be picked on past performances. But reality is, some should be overlooked on current form. A few need a wake up call.

Edwards and To'o. I have grave doubts on their fitness. Especially in a physically high intensity game.

People here will say the selfish thing but fact is we have multiple players who are best in their position. Best thing is guys like Casey or a young forward really show something while guys like martin/yeo/To'o are out. Patea is alright but wouldn't mind seeing a genuine second rower come through. In Casey's case just looking more comfortable.

Edit: also if Tago realises how fast and strong he really is he'll play origin.

I think this NSW side is going to be the best we’ve seen in 20 years if Daley doesn’t scew it up. It’s a great chance for our key players to get some confidence. I really want to see Cleary dominate the series. I tend to think after he missed out last year he was utterly filthy and potentially part of the shoddy focus from him at least is having his eyes on Origin. Do it then come back as the best player in the game that he should be week in week out. Martin, To’o and Yeo will play but I’d be ok if Edwards missed out for NSWs sake and his fitness.
