Getting back ex eels.

We at Parramatta are notorious for signing players we have previously let go. From the top of my head here goes:

Peter Johnston (Parra to Souths to Parra)
Jason Bell (Parra to Souths to Parra)
David Penna (Parra to Souths to Parra)
Michael Buettner (Parra to Norths to Northerns Eagles to Parra to Tigers)
Eric Grothe (Parra to Roosters to Parra)
Wade Mckinnon (Parra to Souths to Parra)
Steve Crouch (OK he was a mistake, who cares.)

There are rumours in another great topic by eelavation that Chad Robinson might be coming back to Parra. Which I think is great. Something tells me that we will get Willie Tonga back one day or we will at least try our best to.

How long did he sign for?

Also when is PJ Marsh, Jason Cayless and Andrew Ryan's contracts finish with their current clubs? I would go for all these players if or when they become available.

I just dunno about Chad...he's honest and that's about it. We have enough honest players at our club.

Willie in a year or so would come at a price Riddell wishes he could get...we would have to throw some coin to get Willie back.

PJ is too much of a liability these days...if he doesn't get back that is tragic. A great player and a Qld'er to boot!!!

Would love big Caylo back...has anybody gone back to their 2001 poster and seen how big that bloke is!!!

Bobcat is welcome back anytime!!

Sorry don't know their contract details....to (not) answer your question.

The irony is , that BS has been quoted as saying that Robinson was one of the few players we let go that he wasn't really trying to keep. As for Bobcat, I doubt he will come back whilst Smith is in charge; he likes the more relaxed approach that Folkes has. I heard that one from the horse's mouth.

I still can't get my head around how Willie Tonga can't crack it at Parra for a few years, then goes to the Dogs starts the season in 1st grade and plays origin. :?
Was he ordinary at the Eels or did he not see eye to eye with Smith. :?:

it was because he had a great backline already infront of him eg. Lyon, Vaealiki, Moodie, plus the emergence of Graham.....although i rate Tonga better then all those players exept Lyon

Is Chad Robinson in first grade at the moment? Haven't heard anything about him for a while. Players like Ryan, J Cayless, I Hindmarsh would be fairly expensive these days. Wonder what the situation with PJ Marsh is, now that Daniel Anderson has left the Warriors, and a number of other players as well. On top of that their massive form drop must have PJ questioning his loyalty, i'd love to see him back when fit.

I think Chad's been playing off the bench for the Roosters. But enough about him. Resurrect Benny Kusto.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to see the quality players of the early to mid nineties.

Greentree, Crnkovik (spelling), Muchmore, Blackett, Galbraith, Seal, Ericson.

Used to watch these guys and think they were great. They were always out there giving their best.

Don't forget Mark Laurie, the guy was my hero growing up... an outstanding backrower!

Was a great prospect in reserve grade. With the number 20 on his back he was great.

We had many others worth mention but I don't have the memory I once did.
