Did anyone see the footy show this morning? Mark Geyer to put it bluntly said, get rid of Mason, you get rid of the problem. MG was no angel through out his career, but i'm glad to finally hear somebody prominent not hide behind things and say what most of us think. Good onya MG

Oh yeah thats really fair. Destroy the guys life completely over something thats not even close to being jailworthy. Perhaps if he was a criminal i'd agree, but its obvious the guy needs help. Pathetic moron MG ... just like Roy Hardley and his witch hunt.

If it's true that Mason does have ADHD, which was said by Folkes this morning, then it's understandable. He can't take the medication, because of drug tests.

I have no idea if he does or not, but for Ray Hadley to carry on the way he did saying it's just an excuse because ADHD is something you grow out of, so no adults have it, is very wrong. It's not something you grow out of, and it was quite an offensive thing to say.

Who cares if it isnt jail worthy? Yeah lets leave mason in a high profile position while he continues to do stupid things and constantly brings the game into disrepute.. This is ok because what he has done isnt 'jailworthy' (although some things may have been at the start of the season)

He would have been able to get clearance for the drug anyway. McDougall did for his steroids...

People get sacked from jobs and deregistered from their professions all the time for things that aren't bad enough to put them in jail!!!!!!!!

Mark Geyer said what everybody is thinking, did you notice how nobody on the footy show backed him up, they all sat there like Geyer had said something that was forbidden, their silence has to say something about the way Mason seems to lead a charmed life when it comes to getting off lightly.

It's a bit rough to criticise Sterlo. He has no obligation to be controversial. Just because Ray Hadley likes to be, it doesn't mean that everyone else has to be. Everybody deals things in their own way. I applaud Geyer for his approach, and I respect Sterlo for his approach. If he doesn't feel that he knows enough, then he's right to not go off the handle.

i also agree 100% with MG and i hope that id doesnt cost him his career with channel 9 but chances are it will.. every thing he said was true and mason should not be playing on wednesday. On continuos call this morning that kid rang up who he swore in front of, its disgraceful that he would use such language in front of young children and this is ignoring the many other stupid things he has done. You cant put everything he has done down to ADHD, that is if even actually does have it..

willie is destroying a lot of other peoples lives at the moment! Ray Hadley is just saying what the vast majority want to say. Well done MG, and the moorons on channel nine can suck on these ones

It's funny our different interpretations. I thought while Sterlo didn't say much, i had the impression he didn't disagree with MG. On the look on Gus' face, well you can't expect anything else, if Mason isn't dropped, it would have been a very fragile situation between coach and player. And please, i'm sick and tired of society blaming ADD and ADHD on things that go wrong in peoples lives. This is a disease that was only born in the 90's, it's funny and at times even incomprehensible how society survived before it was diagnosed. Oh wait, now i remember how it was dealt with, it was called "being responsible for your actions" something that seems to have been forgotten in the year 2004.

Sterling sits on the fence on alot of issues thats what im talking about. You respect Sterling for sitting there saying nothing? It is fact that Mason was swearing in front of kids. That not enough for him? It is fact that Gasnier left the message. Still not? They are paid to give opinion yet when it comes to the big issues they run and hide! i cant wait till 9 lose the coverage, it will be the best thing to ever happen to Rugby League.
