Very polished performance from the boys yesterday to down the Sharks. Got a bit scrappy at the end and a nothing to lose Sharkies scored a couple of late ones to give the score some undeserved credibility. In reality though the Maggies were far the better side and had the game in their keeping pretty much all the way.
Mark Hendy turned up in the right places to score 4 tries, and Simon Greaves kicked well. Skipper Magic Waters was injured so we ran out with a very young halves combo in Wiz Waters and Wade Dunley - and both looked dangerous. Well done! Shannon Gallant had a great game until he was binned at the death - superb last ditch try saving tackle and almost created a 110m try with a brilliant run from his dead ball line. Everyone out there contributed - great team effort. The side looks like it has no shortage of spirit, skill, or toughness. Great stuff boys.
