I love the Yak!
One of the most honest, hard working front rowers in the comp. Was a bolter for Country and has now been rated the NRL's Mr Perfect. Has got by within the club on one year deals and his does a bit of plumbin in the off season.
Modest, unassuming, loves his footy.
With Freddie leaving it's blokes like the Yak that should benefit I believe. Has previously done the job asked on far less but is now showing really, really good form.
He's 27, we'd get him for between $100K and $150K a season on a 3 year deal. And I think he'll keep getting better and better. Maybe never rep at Origin or International, but he can be a big part of the Roosters for quite a few years to come.
Chook.
