Well I was wrong. Collingwood crushed the Cats.

It was great to see Collingwood dominate, but the game was ruined by players, in specific Geelong players, playing for free kicks.

I dont get to watch a lot of AFL so maybe some one can help me out, but it really ruined the game. Players deliberately ducking their heads, diving all over the shop like theyve been shot at the slighest contact. It really ruined the game as a spectacle for me.

Is this accepted by the AFL community as part of the game? Are fans happy with it?

The ducking in to tackles has only just started. It's a certain free so I can see why teams are using it. There are laws against "staging" for frees.

Great night. Pies played a great 1st quarter, followed it up with a good 2nd and by half time it was just about over.

The atmosphere at the ground was brilliant.
