It's a very good goal. And if we can achieve that then I think we're a Top 4 team next year because I feel our attack is already pretty good and will only get better next year. And as you mentioned defence wins comps.
I haven't watched the video, but if that is accurate, it doesn't sit well with me at all. There is one winner and fifteen losers. Our aim needs to be "Number 1 in Defence". This whole aiming for Top 8 or Top 4 breeds an unacceptable level of satisfaction. There are the Premiers and the rest.....
Number one defense did not make the Grand Final. But was always going to be one of the top 4. The fact the focus is defense, sits well with me.
If they can be Top 4 in defence then they're a very good chance to be Top 4 - Which will be the teams main first goal. Once the finals hit they're in a prime position.
