Going Crazy - What is this song!?

Alright, this has been driving me crazy for about seven years now, and I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I'm looking for a song that would have been played on Triple J during 1997. Sort of slower piece, had lyrics to the effect of

"What has become of your love?
Fallen angels lay at your feet"

That's pretty much all I can remember clearly, but doing a lyrics search on Google turns up sweet f**k all.

Any help from the less mainstream amongst us? I'm looking at you, Alex28.

I was thinking "Even When I'm Sleeping" by Leonardo's Bride... but nah.

So far off it 'aint funny, lol. This one was sung by a guy, and was substantially less whiny, heh.

Thanks for trying, though

The only thing in Google that comes close to it is an Evanescence song - cant be it.

The lyrics sound familar tho...leave it with me.

About half?

Yes

Will do. It's been driving me crazy since 1997, believe it or not. I thought I'd stumbled onto something when looking over The Tea Party's discography today but if it's by them, I couldn't find it.

I love you!

What's your name, my first born shall bear it!

EDIT: Of course, being an Australian song from seven years ago, I have absolutely no idea where to find it.

wonder if it made it into Triple Js hottest 100.

No idea. I don't remember it being on the 1997 edition, which I'd assume it would have qualified for. Could easily have been a 1996 release though, since the album it's from evidently came out then.

Aussie music can be a real prick to track down, by all methods.

I've been after a Chris Wilson song for years, which I think was called 'I believe in love'. Can't remember exactly when it came out, early to mid 90's, it could have been a cover for all i know but i remember watching the filmclip on rage! Arrrggh!!

I guess I could bite the bullet and buy the CD it's on, but really, it's the only song I know/care to know. It just reminds me of being fourteen all over again.

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but has anyone got this track anywhere? I'm all for supporting an artist, but $30 for an album from a band I've not heard of outside of this one seems a little exhorbitant. Surely it was released as a single if Triple J was playing it so often in 1997?
