and got picked for australia and had a cracking 4nations...if it wasn't for a dodgy forward pass call he'd have won australia that game with a freak try in the last seconds of the game

as a 18 year old hes excelled in everything thats been asked of him....he deserves recognising imo

Over a player who was good all season then played an awesome 4 nations for the winning team, including absolutely owning matautai on a couple of occasions? The award isn't for trying, it's for being the best on his position mainly on the international stage, and Vatuvei was that.

Manu was a beast in 2014 and what's scarier is he is getting better still 2015 everyone talking about Johnson I think Manu will have his peak seasons 15-16

Got picked for Australia because every man and his dog was out injured... and a bit of Sheens magic.

As for playing well, you should look beyond his contributions in attack because he was found out defensively on numerous occasions as any rookie thrown into International football would've been.

He was not the 2nd best winger in the game last year, not even close.

Thats a bit rough, rougheyedspud. Ryan Hall deserved his spot.

Oh wait, you mean Matautai for Vatuvei.:lol::lol::lol::lol: Manu destroyed everyone all tournament and had an outstanding NRL season, not 6 games.
