Good on the young guns!

Unfortunately most people use this forum to criticise our team (myself included) but it just wanted to say that despite our bad start to the season our current starting 17 have really stepped up despite their huge lack of NRL career games.

f**k the critics, these young guns haven't lost faith in each other and that makes me proud to be a tigers supporter.

To be honest, I don't really care if we make the 8. Tigers are my team for the rest of my life and to be able to watch a 7 or so players who were playing toyota cup 1-2 years ago makes me very happy.

Marshall is a fantastic 5/8, but it will be f**king awesome if Miller and Sironen form a combo that we have been lacking for so long!

TBH i think juniors Tedesco, Simona, Miller and Siro have been very disappointing so far (in a terrible backline without continuity nor forwards on the front foot) and Buchanen seems a bit of a plodder.

Korobiete is the only one who looks like he belongs.

Takes time to get comfortable in FG though for most.
Hope the rewards come next year and for the next decade.

Good to plenty of local juniors coming through.....a bit like 02, 03 and 04.

Agreed excluding Simona and only because I haven't seen him out there. Koro is the only one who has looked like the real deal.

Some of the young forwards have looked good. I think we have the making of a really good pack assuming Blair gets punted.

Prefer to play finals football with no juniors than 'enjoy' watching our juniours running around getting pounded three weeks out of four.

I agree Brother Jim.

I think Potter has used his head in the selection process and gone with the experience where possible. Reddy in the centres with over 100 games, Thompson in the centres as well don't know how many games he has played in the centres but he does play as a wide running forward so with these two guys it will allow the forwards to play tight.

Then Miller and Siro, they would have played many more games together than, Miller/Marshall, Anasta/Marshall, Fulton/Marshall and even Farah/Marshall, I think anyway. Coupled with the fact that they will have some big centres outside them with experience plus the forwards might get them both onto the front foot.

Then we have young Marika and I think having Thompson inside of him with size will be of benefit as well. Reddy on the other side might be a good foil for Utai with bombs.

Am I dreaming? I certainly hope not and wish them well, can't wait to see them turn up this week.

I think Reddy and Koro are on the left edge together? Either way a lot of people posting here missed my point. I'm trying to throw support for the team I love.
