.. i may offend people in this forum, and that's not my wish, but after reading a lot of the posts here and in the nrl forum, the passion for the tigers is quite amazing. Having distinguished myself as a magies supporter back in 1990, (when jason taylor visited our school and gave away some footies) i thought i'd be a magpie for life - which i still am. I endured the horrors of the late ninties, enjoyed the battler status of the early nineties when we had the black pearl, bobby linder, warren ryan etc .. all the way to the merger ..

now i find myself more of a tiger than a magpie.

it's all good though .. i have my masteron, LG and signature securities jerseys to hang on to, as well as junior rep jerseys with the duffy bros signage ..

i'm just gald to be a wests tiger right now .. i hope people enjoy the ride, not to close their eyes because things can change at a click, (see parra as an example) .. keep the good times rolling ..

Ohhhhhhh,isnt that cool.

While we are in feelgood mode,my mum who hasnt been to a JV game went on the weekend and absolutely loved it.She has promised me that if the WTs win again that she is going to buy FOX so she can watch all the games......

Has he tide FINALLY turned????Are we all on the same side????Are we getting the old fans back who swore they would never go again????

I think it may be so......

Time is the healer. Success only aids in the process. Alot of the disgruntled fans that were lost to the game through the Joint-Venture are coming back (it may only be a small minority, but its better than nothing. The amount of Balmain and even more so Magpie jerseys on the weekend suggests that) and are starting to realise that both clubs still live on through the Joint-Venture of the Wests Tigers. Its one small step in the right direction.

F**k the feelgood shit - Lindner was a leach and a germ (and the Magpies are welcome to bask in the memory of him)!!!

He provided Parra with their greatest reason not to release Lyons to play for Wee Waa!!!

What was the ratio of Balmain to Wests jerseys (or Parra for that matter) Gobbs???? 3-1 would be conservative!!!

Going on certain posters on this forum, I doubt it very much that everyone is on the same side. Especially one imbecile.

If they dont ride the rollercoaster - they can ride the donkey.

Also, who cares how many Balmain and Magpie jerseys there was at the game, they support the same team dont they ?

Lemmee guess.
You was one of those four or five guys in Balmain jumpers chanting "Bal-main...Bal-main!!" during PL.......a small orange cluster slowly getting enveloped as first grade grew closer...I was sitting opposite....the image disappeared eventually.

No - I'm a Wests Tigers supporter as well as a traditional Balmain supporter unlike Tigger!!

But to say there were alot of Magpies jerseys is a pure fallacy!!

Do you think perhaps the game being played at Leichhardt may have had something to do with the fact there were more Balmain jerseys. ;-)

You know what, im no longer a balmain supporter, im a wests tigers supporter. I couldnt go back to supporting balmain. The wests tigers are my team, I get more upset now when we lose than when balmain used to lose. COMMON wests tigers

...........I dont think he meant there was more black shirts than orange...just the fact that there were magpie jerseys at leichhardt, more so than usual, and some that previously hadnt attended JV games, That maybe he thinks more of those originally opposed to the JV may be finally being swayed.

Personally, and I'll say it again ( not sure if I posted it here or the other site ) Sincas and I spoke to a couple on Sunday who's previous last game at Leichhardt was circa 1984.....were getting fans back, no matter where theyre from originally.
