Watch the replay again Parra fans. You people think the world is against you.
Simple fact of the matter is Wade obstructed Bowen....that simple.
If he stands still and makes no movement towards Bowen (look carefully where he places his hands on Bowen) then it is a try

Rememebr the Souths v Easts game in round 1, when one of the locks ran through the scrum? How many of his teammates did he push into opposition tacklers? Yeah, he got trackles after going about 10m. Ridell, on the other hand, only advanced one.....

Crap decision.

Bowen was impeded by the fact that McKinnon existed. McKinnon never moved into a position to impede Bowen. Had McKinnon stayed exactly where he was, instead of moving forward the 2mm that he did, Bowen would not have had any clearer shot.

From now on, a marker should run at the ballplayer and claim obstruction from not being able to takcle the dummy half.

Justa s rediculous as Hindy's 'hold down' of Matt Sing, who did a Trent Barrett and was ready to take off. Or Justin Smith's sin bin. Ive seen worse aggro at a CWA cake stall.

Gus is that you?

How can you fools say that was a try you gotta be f**king kidding me. The guy literally grabbed matty bowen wtf.

It's ironic that you of all people would call someone a fool.

Watch it in fast motion and Wade barely touched him. You're kidding if you think Matty Bowen didn't intentionally go for Wade instead of Riddell, he's not stupid and would know how strict the video refs are.

But that's the way she goes, if our fowards had some balls then we may have won but they're a pack of pussies (Hindy and Riddell excluded). If we were going to win we'd have done it without those awful foward pass calls and Graeme West's stupidity costing us.

Chuck, Wade did nothing. Ridell pushed him forward.

Funny how Bowen still made the tackle!!!!!

Wade McKinnon is the first person in 99 years of Rugby League in Australia to be penalised for existing.

So McKinnon was penalised for not being teleported off the field?????

Basically yes

If McKinnon just stood there, then he still would of been pinged as obstruction as Bowen was directly in front of him, and he would of had to go around McKinnon

And where was Wade supposed to go, standing still, to the left,to the right some defender would of have been impeded

So from now on a player who plays the ball can be penalised for obstructing the marker from tackling the dummy half, just be standing there? There is no obstruction if you don't move!!!!!!

Let's see that apply elsewhere on the field...I won't be holding my breath

And just for the record the better team won.

No doubt, but that's already been covered. Doesn't change the fact that the Ridell decision was a disgrace.

There are a lot of things that only apply when a try is scored.....

Shepherd, ten in the bins for foulies, there are plenty more.

Best team won,penalty correct.

I dont undrestand how you cannot see that Wade impeded Bowen and he couldnt get a shot on Riddell.....its OBVIOUS.
