Listening to Fitzy, Looks like Graham will be making his first premiership appearance for the season against the broncs. Hope he plays well and builds towards full fitness in the weeks ahead. Up Up!!

Does he come on and play a middle role off the bench?

If so does that mean McInnes starts at 13 and rotates with Wade or the other way around?

Moving Finucane up to permanent prop?

The timing and combination we have on the edges currently is working perfectly, it’s our middles we haven’t got perfect yet.

I can’t see him playing middle.

I’d say they bring him off the bench after about 30 minutes, for Teig.

Then rotate Teig back on after half time (?) to give one of the middles a spell. Teig is likely to be a bit more robust than Wade at the moment…

I always thought he would work as a middle 13. Body type and skill set were perfect for it.

Start on the bench.
Hunt to start up front with finucane at lock.

Mciness to rotate on as a middle. Tieg and Briton can play the 80. Wade might only get about 40 minutes in, for fitness reasons.

No reason teig can’t play as a prop

The other thought is that Wade has played exclusively left side for his whole career.

If Fitzy wants him at 13, he’d probably need a full off-season to work into it - either that or we’re 6 points clear at the top of the ladder (unlikely)…

Tieg can play middle pretty well, I'd say he'll come off the bench and Tieg goes to the middle in his second stint.

Though we might find for his first game back Graham might have pretty limited minutes and be eased in.

Disagree. It's Wade Graham. Experienced, professional, talented. He can be a Radley/Murray type of lock. Just a bit slower

I rang the BSB this morning to ask Loz and the other muppet Bulldog if they had heard on the grapevine if Wade would play. Bulldog said his mail was that he would be held back another week.

When I asked if Wade coming back would disrupt our left side which is working so beautifully at the moment, they didn't seem to think it was a problem. Daley said, if you have a fit Wade Graham he plays. Simple as that.

Wade would be targeted for sure if he plays. Pretty sure the left side is that of Capewell, Farnworth and whoever the five eight is. Probably that merkin Gamble

id say it'll be a case of swapping tieg and wade for a couple of weeks
i doubt they'll play wade for much more than 40 minutes v broncs.
then later on maybe starting wade and then have tieg off the bench covering middle and edge/centre
there'll be no 80 minute wade for a while i reckon

The other benefit of Wade playing in the middle is another kicking option especially short.
The way our middle play with lots of ball movement it’s a natural fit.

His defensive reads on the edges and his defence under fatigue have been poor.
Reduced minutes in the middle will go along way to fixing it.

I just had a listen to the Fitzy interview - yeah - I think he’ll come off the bench.

He said that he didn’t want to tinker with the left edge…
