STUART Reardon, Bradford Bulls’ Man of the Match hero from last Saturday’s Super League Grand Final victory over Wigan Warriors at Old Trafford, continues his amazing week of Rugby League by being selected for his Great Britain debut.

The 22-year-old Bulls star has been included on the left wing of the Great Britain team who will face New Zealand ‘A’ in their Think! Road Safety international at Headingley next Wednesday evening (Kick off 8.00pm).

Reardon, who was originally named in the England ‘A’ team to play Australia at Griffin Park, Brentford on Tuesday (Kick off 8.00pm), was taken into the Great Britain squad hours before their departure for warm-weather training in Spain on Wednesday.

And on Wednesday he will combine with his Odsal club-mate Lee Gilmour to form the left-wing partnership for the Lions.

Wigan winger David Hodgson is the only other player in the starting 13 for the game who played in the Old Trafford showpiece match.

Three Leeds Rhinos stars - Keith Senior, Kevin Sinfield and Barrie McDermott - will be playing in front of their own Headingley fans while former Rhino Adrian Morley marks his return to the stadium after two years playing with Sydney City Roosters in Australia,

Warrington Wolves prop Paul Wood, the shock selection by head coach David Waite, also gains his Great Britain debut at open side prop, while Waite gives Castleford Tigers forward Ryan Hudson his first appearance in red, white and blue at hooker.

Waite also gives a Great Britain debut to Wakefield Trinity Wildcat Gareth Ellis, who will start the game against New Zealand ‘A’ playing in the second row alongside Adrian Morley.

Good to see a few of the fringe players like Sinfield, Hudson, Ellis and Morley ;-) getting a run-out.

GB should kill NZ A though, they have been fairly poor in their 2 tour games so far.
