NZ vs Wales was a fantastic match, although the second half wasn't quite as good, with the All Blacks dominating.

Shane Williams was outstanding. That break he made to set up Wales' second try was one of the finest pieces of footwork I can remember seeing. If Wales had won it would have rejuvenated the tournament. But alas another threatened upset fails at the final hurdle. At least this game has shown us our vulnerable the Kiwis can be. Go the Boks. ;-)

In the end i think its a good result. Imagine England playing NZ in the quarters no way. But geez they made the NZ's look ordinary. NZ just needed a good wake up call thats all to many easy games - its what they really needed. Full credit to the welsh though

It was easily the most enjoyable Union game I have seen. Its not a bad game when played that way and when the ref doesnt blow a penalty every second. Hopefully its not a one off.

Top effort Wales. If they can play like that again they'll have a great chance of knocking off England, however I feel that they are probably like Samoa who had one great game against England then fell apart against SA. I really hope that I'm wrong though as the way Wales play ids infinitely more entertaining than England's ugly 10 man style. I also don't think that England are capable of testing NZ the way Wales did last night, they have too much to lose and won't approach the game with the same nothing to lose attitude.
As for NZ well I think Wales have done uas a huge favour, after so many easy games you're always going to get a touch-up when you run into some decent competition, and much better that we got that from Wales that from SA next week.

I must admitt that I am not so confident about the SA game as I was at the start of the comp. SA have really come on in leaps and bounds at this comp, compared to the 3N's. France has always been the dark horse, they have stayed out of the media spot light and seem to be on track.

Played and reffed in a good spirit.
A real bonus for both the AB's, Wales and the RWC.

I could crap on about the things the ABs were poor at (their defence around the ruck was terrible, but you get that when your tight five decide to spread themselves around the paddock), but for the most part NZ were only able to play as well as Wales let them.
Both teams chose to play positive football & kept the infringements to a minimum. The Welsh look to have some exciting new players coming up, which is great to see.

Yeah i hate boring union games, but that was one of the best games i have seen for a while!! Shane Williams was outstanding with his footwork. But the All Blacks played good in the second half, and im still picking them to win the WC. Especially with players like Mils Muliaina and Carlos Spencer who played great last nite!!
