Because his style of coaching is horrendous. Yes it wins games but cancer is also pretty good at what it does

I hate Bellamy because clubs playing against his team have slowest play the ball against the Storm. Storm whether the grapple tackle or the wrestle tend to use dishonest tactics which are not in the rules.
I acknowledge the brilliance of Cronk, Smith, and Slater but that's probably where I end my praise. Coaches still complain about Bellamy tactics.

"MELBOURNE Storm have been accused of taking the infamous “grapple tackle’’ off the ground in a new NRL scourge that could lead to a touch football-like epidemic of surrendering.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal Melbourne are at the centre of yet another wrestling controversy with the club accused of creating a brand new wrestling move called the “air grapple’’.

One rival club this month presented Tony Archer with at least 20 video examples of the wrestling move that sees up to four Storm defenders deliberating holding opposition attacking players off the ground in a bid to slow down the play the ball.

It has been alleged that the timed examples given to the NRL showed that Storm players were holding the attacking players off the ground for up to eight seconds.

An NRL source confirmed a “handful” of NRL coaches had expressed concerns about a number of teams, including Melbourne, holding players up while not on the ground.

The source said the issue of the standing grapple was considered a secondary concern after time delaying techniques.

Cronulla became the latest club to throw the Storm under the spotlight on Thursday night when Shane Flanagan spoke about Melbourne’s wrestling in the ruck.

“They were at their best wrestle Melbourne Storm,” Flanagan said. “It was slow, it was frustrating. Referee Cameron Smith did a good job.”

^^ Exactly, it's garbage. If people expect me to respect a method of winning that damages the very product itself, I'll show you where the door is.
