Raiders of the Lost Ark: The film that introduced the world to the iconic character of Indiana Jones. An absolute action-adventure classic.

Requiem for a Dream: Dark, depressing, and gritty sum up this multi-layered tale about drug addiction.

The Big Sleep: Like the Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep helped define the film noir genre.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy: A perennial favourite amongst LU users. One of the most quotable films made in recent years.

Casino: I've not seen it and feel ashamed, as I know it's a classic.

300: Zack Snyder's second offering after Dawn of the Dead was the hugely successful, visually stunning epic that claimed to be based on the legend of the Spartan 300.

Requiem for a Dream.

I was reluctant to watch it after learning that the douche bag from 30 Seconds to Mars was in it, but it turned out to be one of the most affecting films I've ever seen.

Raiders of the Lost Ark: Total adventure classic. Prob the best adventure movie ever made.

Requiem for a Dream: The best movie I've ever seen...period. I saw this in a cinema of about 12 people. About 4-5 walked out during the movie. The greatest injustice in oscar history was when Ellen Burstyn got robbed by that Julia Roberts asswipe.
Needless to say, I voted for this movie.

The Big Sleep: Never saw this one.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy: Never saw this one either. Will Ferrell material is not my style of comedy, but i'll give it a look.

Casino: Very good movie.

300: I didn't know what to expect and had no high hopes. Brilliant effects carry the movie, but a very good viewing experience.

Overall, Requiem should win in a canter.

Haven't seen Requiem or The Big Sleep. Anchorman made me lol more that most other comedies, so I'll go with it.

300 should be a long way away from any great movies list, except for maybe great mindless action flicks, or greatest disappointments.

So hard to choose between Raiders, 300, Casino and Rob Burgundy. Went for Raiders though.

This is a hard group, Casino Goodfellas in LAS VEGAS, Raider of the Lost Ark, the movie 300...I wish I can pick all of them, but I'm going with Scorsese gem CASINO...

Raiders cruises through, and Anchorman squeezes past Requiem. A little disappointed to see such a class movie go out so early, but Anchorman would have run second in the 2008 LU's Top Movies count-down I had to abort.

I went with Raiders of the Lost Ark. Anchorman was funny in parts but after a while it just got a bit silly.
