The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers: One of the rare 'middle movies' to avoid the curse and probably outstrip its predecessor in terms of quality - the Two Towers escalated the stakes in the franchise and had a swathe of memorable battle scenes.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: Arguably Jim Carrey's finest work, Eternal Sunshine is a delightfully quirky look at relationships gone wrong. Told with the visual style of Michel Godry and the genius of Charlie Kauffman for the plot - this was a touching, unusual love story.

Yojimbo: A classic piece of Japanese cinema, this tale of a ronin who saves a village from a vicious crime lord. The predecessor to Clint Eastwood's more well known 'Man with Known Name' saga, this flick has spawned Hollywood knock-offs and a string of computer games.

V for Vendetta: A grossly underrated comic book adaptation, V for Vendetta manages to bring to life a fairly obscure hero and do so in a way that draws fans in. With a wonderful cast and a delightfully dark, post apocalyptic setting - Vendetta remains a favourite for many an action movie enthusiast.

Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl: The original and the best by leagues, who'd have thought a movie based on a Disneyland ride could be so enjoyable? Carried largely by the talents of Rush and Depp, there was a lot of fun to be had with those tale.

Two Towers and V for Vendetta nearly impossible to split. I just re-watched V recently, so that just got my vote.

Very good question.

Again, if you're mainstream and popular you'll win anything. Even elections (Schwarzenegger).

Yojimbo, easily. Followed by Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

V for Vendetta failed epicly, despite having much potential. I'm a lefty, but I cringed at the lack of subtlely and intelligence. Way to ruin a promising film.

Two Towers is great of course, but, just personally, didn't think it was the best LOTR flick. POTC is good fun, but it's fluff.

Amazingly - it's come down to votes between V for Vendetta and PotC. First to get two votes wins first seed.
