The Usual Suspects: A classy, edgy flick full of brilliant acting and a truly memorable twist ending. Bryan Singer's finest work.
Saving Private Ryan: Spielberg and Hanks combined brilliantly in this unflinching flick about World War II. Famed for its opening scene and the gritty portrayal of the war - it's become a huge favourite.
Oldboy: One of the few foreign films to squeeze in, South Korea's Oldboy is probably too dark to be ever adapted into the Western sphere. Wonderfully acted and with a killer twist of its own.
Juno: Probably overrated, but Juno was a cute and quirky comedy that showcased two of the brighter young acting talents going about. Annoying soundtrack.
Toy Story 2: I preferred the first myself, but there's a lot of love out there for the second go around for Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody.
The Truman Show: Arguably Carey's greatest non comic work, Truman was shockingly overlooked for Oscars despite being one of the best films of its year. Touching and unique in its themes.
Bugger me, this is a group of death.
