I watched them Friday night. The 5th time I have seen them live and they always put on a great live show. Billy Joe is brilliant live and never fails to impress.

Went... loved it. Great show. Billie Joe is full of NRG.

I've found myself not enjoying their songs that I hear on the radio that much lately... sounds a little commercialised. I'm an old school Green Day'er fo shore. But..but... those new songs sound absolutely brilliant live. Radio hides just who they really are.

Awesome concert, so glad they played Hitchin a Ride which is always my favourite Green Day song. They played a fairly full set too, the only ones off the top of my head that weren't played were Maria, The Saints are coming (but that's with U2), Working Class Hero (but I figure that was a once off tribute to Lennon), Warning (I'm not a fan of it anyway that sounds radio-ish) and Nice Guys Finish Last. I'm not a fan of Jet either, but they were electric opening up.

I don't mind Jet, not the biggest fan but I don't hate them or anything, They were a great opening i thought!

But Green Day were really electric, stacked set list, played just about everything I could think of just about!

Loved it, that guy that got up to sing would of been the happiest guy alive!!!

How bad was the chick though they got up to sing? She either sang way back from the microphone or had no idea what the words were.

I never have ever been a fan of them.
However, throughout the years I've heard only good about their live shows.
Good on them, glad to see you guys got your money worth.

I know she was rough, i love how billie joe heard about 3 words and was like "yeah f**k that!" and started sing himself again hahaha

The second guy wasn't a great singer but atleast knew the words and was sort of in tune.

his stage dive was classic, he just disappeared, i don't think he was caught at all.

Hahaha I read about that.. just a space where the poor bastard jumped. Not really that much of a fan but they put on a fantastic show (Brisbane).

Was listening to Triple M at work, they played an hour of Green Day, with interviews and live songs, and I noticed whenever the lead singer stopped to get the crowd involved, all you could hear were teenage girls screaming and singing along.

Is their fan base mostly young girls?
