I can't wait to hear those words again!

It'll always sound better when Rabs is commentating but i'll gladly settle for whoever is calling on fox this weekend.

Geez I'm looking forward to seeing Grothe charging back down the wing for us (hopefully trampling all over the top of El Misery on his way to a 3rd try!) :D Seriously how good is it to have the Guru Jnr back! i'm excited!

Now let's show some love for the big fella.

I hope he shows a lot of promise this year, I was disappointed when he left Parramatta, but now he's back. I'm looking forward to see him play. I hope he gets back to that form he showed in late 1999 and early 2000, which earned him an Origin jumper before he was ruled out injured.

Well rnd 2 the Eels v Broncos game is the ch.9 sunday game so all goes well on the injury front and Rab's could be calling it.

that being said before then gotta look at the runts game and Guru Jnr tramping Hazem and Sonny-Bill Who.

Bring that on!

Remember the try he scored at parra against Penrith in 2000 where he ran 80 metres trampling over players in the process! The crowd went nuts, ....Vintage Guru. Would love to see that sort of form again!!!!

it was one of two tries he scored that night in our narrow win. The other try was scored by another legend..............
B.Kusto!!!!

Ben Kusto not only scored the try but have Robbie Beckett land on his ankle.

the step to get past Joergenson was great aswell.

Burt only got 1/4 with the boot that night but he still had long hair then so thats the reason.

Since Burt has cut has his his gone better maybe his is "nosmas"

The one he scored in the home preliminary-final v Newcastle in 1999 at Parra Stadium always comes to mind for me. I think it was Dymock who put a grubber kick through down the sideline, O'Davis was fullback and Grothe gave him about a 15m start charging onto the ball to score in the corner with O'Davis wondering what the f@ck just happened  More of that please! Rabs was calling it too. It was heaven...

both good tries. His 1st try v Wests @ Campbelltown when the Eels won 68-10 was very intresting to see Smithy jumping on his seat after that.

Wasn't a happy night for Robbie Over Dose in that game he got thrown into touch by Schifcofske like last weeks garbage aswell.

Oh yeah! I remember that. Damn, those were the days. Please don't mention Clinton's name again though, brings a tear to my eye  Isn't he sick of Canberra yet?

Every time I saw Guru Jnr in a Roosters jersey i got angry  cause I (like all other Parra supporters) must've known he belonged here and if anyone got that big league with the paper today read that Grothe story a real good one :D
HE'S BACK AND IM HAPPY
we wont have to wait long for those words...i reckon he's scoring 1st try of the match and im hoping it'll be spectacular

What im unhappy about is that after reading the aarticle i found out...he never wanted to leave Parra but had some arguement :x ...but he said it changed him and as much as i hate to say it...thanks Stuart...Guru rekons it has changed him for the good

What i love is reading the name Eric Grothe in first grade in the Big League, f**k that brings back great memories of his father and seeing his name in the Weekly magazine.

It may sound silly??....but it just brings back memories from when i was a young kid seeing such great names of a great side.

Someone posted that Grothe actually led the team in hit ups with 13. That says alot for his effort last night. One of the few Eels who can hold their heads up after an atrocious performance by the team.
