On the next match day (17 June):
Germany will advance to the quarter-finals if
- they do not lose to Denmark by 0–1 or 1–2 or by 2 goals or more OR
- Portugal do not defeat the Netherlands

Portugal will advance to the quarter-finals if
- they defeat the Netherlands and Denmark defeat Germany by 1–0 or 2–1 or at least 2 goals OR
- they do not lose to the Netherlands and Germany do not lose to Denmark OR
- they lose to the Netherlands by 1 goal and Germany defeat Denmark.

Denmark will advance to the quarter-finals if
- they defeat Germany OR
- they draw with Germany and the Netherlands defeat Portugal.

The Netherlands will advance to the quarter-finals if they defeat Portugal by at least 2 goals and Germany defeat Denmark.

Feeling really nervous about our game tomorrow morning. If we can get through, the Portuguese squad has a great chance to go through to the semis. The Czechs don't really scare me to be honest and I think we are more then capable of dealing with them in the second round.

However there are just so many variables and I really don't know how the Dutch will come out tomorrow morning.

Great win by Portugal, should have won like 4-1 atleast with all the chances they created. Nani fluffed so many shots. Alot of people didn't think Portugal had it in them but with their cattle, they were always going to pose a threat if they clicked and finally they did. Ronaldo scoring a double will ease the pressure on him. Good day.
