I'll come right out in front now and say `Yes' i am a Girdler fan and unashamedly so. A lot will already know how big a fan i am of his.
But i can tell you i would still come on here and Grrrr @ Chesterton no matter what Penrith player he was writing about.
A couple of facts for Ray Chesterton:
* We all knew that Ryan Girdler was injured when selected.
* After being announced that Ryan Girdler was selected Ryan's own words were to be somethig similar to this to a girlfriend of mine: `I am stoked but i don't think i can go due to my injury'.
IF he was to be heard to say: `he thought it was worth the risk to go on tour and take his chances'. Wouldnt he have been given some hope by the medical staff?
To drag him out and give him a public whipping because he has re-injured his injury is inexcusable to me.
For gods sake how many players do they take on tour? How many are their to cover the positions?
It wasn't JUST Ryan Girdler that THOUGHT the risk was worth it. There is a selection panel. There is a Coach. There is the Coaching Staff. There is a Medical Team. If they all thought it was worth it, then so be it.
Obviously Ray Chesterton you are a bored individual to write crap like that and not for the first time either. This is the same old GOOSE that laughed at Mike Gibson's case for Panthers to win GF. His words went something like this...Alas poor Mike, he has become aesop, a teller of fables. Only someone with an imagination of Hans Christian Anderson could give Penrith a chance. (HA..HA Chesterton you FOOL)
