Grubs in the NRL

I thought Sam Burgess was always a grub, but throw his brother George in there too and Thomas for that matter. Absolute grub players. All of them.
I hope Newcastle cause havoc in this second half for Souths.
Sam Burgess now has got to be my number 1 biggest grub in the game. This year and last year have exemplified what a grub he is.
Pearce 100% correct in his analysis, George should have been sent off.
Good players, but absolute grubs.
Rant over.
Now back to bagging Mary.

What irks me is the fact that they are a protected species , they - in particular nasty Sam is that he does the dirty play quite regularly and the NRL and refs say jack shat about it , yet if a player from one of the lowly clubs does similar , well you will never hear the end of it .

So how refreshing it was to see the referee show some real oats and sin-binned the pair of them , but most unfortunate that the Knights had to go also .
Great to see the Newcastle boys continue on their winning way . Mary can take some of the credit for that as from memory their first win on their current streak was against our boys , unfortunately.

Dear Dragon22,

On behalf of all the members on this saintly forum, please allow us to congratulate you on an accurate assumption of the Burgess brothers. They really are grubs ........... just ask Sam's wife.

Lol Im a Dragons fan, just saying they're Grubs when they dont play for the Red V, same a Jeremy Smith, Costigan, Weyman, Scott and a host of others who where called grubs when they played for the opposition but became heroes.

My apologies The Flash , we Dragon fans need to stick together in what has become a very cold winter for our club . But to be honest S. Burgess although a very good player does , at least in my opinion possess a particularly violent streak in him that does him no favors .

Yeah few others been mentioned like the Fifita's, Mc Guires, Chambers of this world, but you can add the whole Melbourne side for their last second twist and pull tactics or bending their knees crowding into the body as someone is trying to get up to play the ball.

Pretty sure if we had 2 players trying to headbutt, at least one of them and maybe both would be sent off.
Rules for some...
Nrl refs are a joke
NRL refs have been and are instructed (probably include the video ref in that) to not send anybody off..ruin the entrtainment spectacle for TV.
Put on report...Let the match review judiciary etc deal with it after the game. That is why you have seen them use the bin more (only 10 mins)
But you are right, tripping, head butts, biting get dealt with later, but punches or 3rd man in, professional fouls instant 10 mins...go figure!

That boot thrower Hunt is a real grub.
What a dirty grubby act that was and I hope he got a toe jam all over his hands.
