A chance encounter in Las Vegas has led to the Harvey Norman NZ Breakers signing basketball’s most charismatic character – former NBA hard man Dennis Rodman.

Breakers coach Andrej Lemanis, in the United States on a scouting mission, bumped into the heavily tattooed 6ft 8in superstar in “Sin City” last weekend and jokingly offered Rodman one of the two import spots in the Breakers’ roster.
