Hair Product

I have a concern.

My 16 year old boy, spend heaps of time and dollars on hair product.
This concerns an old guy like me, whose idea of a hair product is soap and a comb (not a comb over).
I notice lots of league players use tonnes of the stuff.
Do the younger men of this forum use hair product often?

When I was a kid, hair product was your mothers saliva fresh from her tongue ewww, and you hated it.

Times are a changing.

Reguardless I will persist in giving my boy crap about it, just want to be reassured this is perfectly normal these days.

Does he also like show tunes

I have 3 sons and not one has ever brushed or comed his hair in years.

When I was your son's age I used hairgel everyday as did nearly every guy in my grade, excluding the nerds. It's just an image thing, everyone wants their hair looking the best at school or at parties or whatever, there's people (girls) to impress. But since I've finished school I hardly use it at all. The odd occasion when I go out clubbing (which I rarely do) and that's about it. He'll grow out of it I reckon.

Mr Angry, its common practise among the younger male generation of today, do not be alarmed

I use DiLorenzo moisturiser, it stops me from getting split ends. I love the stuff, whoever invented it should be knighted.

gum?
Like chewy?
Does that give your hair a pink sticky look?
I am of track here surely.

I remember on year 5 camp i was signing New York New York in the shower thinking i was all alone and a teacher heard me and burnt me at dinner. I was scarred for life and haven't sung a show tune since.

I use wax in my hair and it is the greatest thing!!, it keeps it all in place & you can style your hair well.

Mr A .... Master A is just learning to style himself and try to be as good looking as his dad :p

Nah seriously ... he's at the age where they try and impress the girls and experiment with what suits them and what doesn't.

He's just trying to get himself ready for his "fish in the sea" ;-)
