Whilst at the time I was not majorly dissapointed that Dykes signed with the Sharkies I now have begun feeling a little empty. I suppose it was because I was hanging onto the hopes of the rumour floating around about the swap with Kimmorley. It has been said time and time again but the team most definately looks light on in the halfs. Not good.

The Sharkies now have plenty of depth in this area. Would be nice to be in that situation. Kimmorley, Dykes, Sullivan & Bird to name a few. Not all will get a run at the club for obvious reasons.

Therefore I believe that if the Kimmorley signing was likely to happen it would be after this weekends game against them. It would be the right thing to do you would guess before making any announcement (just like what Dykes did - NOT). Anyways heres hoping or is this nothing but a ridiculous rumour. Has anyone heard through there sources whether we have even a glimmer of hope of getting him to the club.

Sorry Dazeely but you should have known better to not believe Game First in the first place. Guys my source is 100% correct that we inquired and spoke to kimmorley directly but obviuosly nothing has come of that - it doesnt mean i was not truthful as i repeat that it was an impeccable source and i do get excited so all you guys know but id rather inform you than to keep quiet when i know the info is to be fact- Kimmorley was enquired about did talk to us-we were obviuosly desperate for a half and we had a shot at it-the media not knowing Colonel is irrelevant- they didnt know Firman was gone to the roosters until he signed up for 3 years all suddenly after being released a day prior- you cannot say the media knew that the roosters were already chatting behind closed doors-which they were until a later piont in time!

The media also doesnt really know that Smithy gave Lyon a big verbal after the ist bulldogs match this year and nearly made him cry!!
And that is fact my friends and yet the media still do not know !!!!

It's always a big risk posting rumours on here you really put your reputation on the line. When I scooped the chat with Smithy a couple of months ago I never thought he would name the players he was targeting! but he did and was very open about it.

I don't doubt we probably approached Kimmorley as a swap for Dykes. Maybe, Dykes and Cronulla went and told Parra Management about their intentions and Fitzy went oh then howabout we talk abt Kimmorley.

About this anti-tampering thing, closer to home, MC mentioned something a PJ and Parra. Parra I guessed knew something was happening with PJ and the Warriors and probably held talks with him, probably UNOFFICIAL talks.

And the Armit brothers. It said somewhere that the doggies having been looking at chris for a while now (probably with the help of Bobcat and Tonga). Other Clubs would have to get permission form the current club,before they speak to a player 1st. Fitzy would have asked Brian Smith if he wanted to release Armitt to the dogs and Smith would have said yes. Thats the way it works.

I think it's unlikely Sharks will part with Kimmorley, and playing alongside him may have been an attraction for Dykes. But I agree it's likely that they won't keep both Sullivan and Bird.... Sullivan woul dbe handy in that PJ-bench-half-hooker type of role for sure. I don't see Bird as any better than Witt, but I guess we'll see on Saturday!

Your problem is that you state EVERYTHING you EVER post as a fact and cenrtainty....I don't give rats who your sources are - they are obviously 1st class bullshitters and I would have thought u would have learnt by now not to go off every time you hear a stupid rumour......nothing pisses me off more in life than people who talk like they know it all but infact know nothing.
