Hannay QLD Assistant Coach 2022

Paper this morning says Slater has brought in Hannay as assistant Qld coach for next year.. interesting choice considering the options available.

Puts us in a pretty unique position though, with Fitzgibbon having a strong relationship with the Blues (assuming he's not involved this year though) and his assistant working in the Qld squad. Bodes well I'd say!

I'm not a hannay fan but in his defence he's served under Green and Morris.

He's getting a great chance to develop now under Fitz who knows the role of an assistant like his left nut.
And beside Steve Price who's been in the role in '16.
And now under Slater who's a great analyst of football.
It's good.
