About our woes and received a reply back??

As much as this is a forum to vent we aren't getting anywhere and my frustration levels are higher than they ever have been since the game just from reading the posts since the weekend.

I was never in favour of the rally that was talked about for the Manly game but maybe a petition needs to be drawn up to be presented at the AGM?? As an idea???

The fact that we haven't experienced the spoon since 72 means that we ARE at the point of where most of us remember in the early 90's.

We are better than that and that is what hurts the most.

I wrote a demur e-mail once.

I got a generic, "Thank you for showing interest in the Parramatta Eels National Rugby League Club. We will reply to you when we can blahblahblah.."

Needless to say I never got a response back. And I wasn't rude; I was merely asking the questions that needed to be asked.

That's pathetic. We're doing more than showing an interest, we're paying their wages every time we turn up to Parramatta stadium.

I read a thread once were Brian Smith actually replied to a fans email. Does anyone have Brians Email address ?? Also, any other email address' would be handy. I would put a couple of questions to them, re: M witt being left out of the team 1hr 10min before kickoff, ect..ect.. ?

You'd think that anything written to Fitzy would be screened before it got to him anyway???

I'll give them more than both barrells and i don't expect a reply as the club doesn't seem to have enough guts to do anything positive lately (ie. sack an underperforming coach, grant a release to a clearly unhappy player) but someone there has to know how people are feeling

but since i'm part of the problem, they probably won't listen anyway????????

Is anyone interested to do it as a group (and I'm not talking about some breakaway that will challenge at the AGM) but as a collective that will hopefully make some sort of impact and at least have the letter acknowledged as a "group" rather than one offs.

Colonel...maybe an online letter that includes a petition so folk from around the place (ie. Queenslanders, Barty in the UK, WA Eel, etc) can be associated with the letter???

That is providing people want to be a part of it???

I'd be prepared to do it another way.

*Write your letters -your handwriting, your name, your signature etc voicing the problems you feel exist and what YOU want done about them.

THEN

* Have them collected and all given to the Eels Office at the one time.


I think there is more impact in this then a bunch of signatures at the bottom of a three paragraph letter.

Good idea, because Smithy is killing our club-he left saints poorer and is making us a boring team to watch- and we all love our side but you have to admit the attack and fredom we play with is non-existant!

I have written to the club once , no reply as i was critical last year of the coaches letting Tonga go- but i will now write again with the same issue among others !
Let me know when my sig is needed as i will sign it several times!
